It's an iguana, and if it bites you my guess is it's male and it's going to grow to be about 10 times that size and you're gonna want to get rid of it. Get a Bearded Dragon.

you better take proper care of him. he needs ultra-violet lighting and calcium supplements. you prolly know that already, but i had to mention it. i nursed a few of them back to health cuz they got MBD.

Nice lizard, those things get huge and they can bite fingers clean off. I have had 2 bearded dragons (separate enclosures) for about 1 and half years now and they are great pets. That iguana is gunna need some big ass space when it gets fully grown

Iguanas are such cool animals. I plan on getting one someday, but they do need quite a bit of care. A friend of mine had one that was over 6 feet long, and it died becasue of a Calcium deficiency... Awesome animals though!!
