Cheating Pattern?

Instead of a cheat day, I want to cheat for dinner only on Friday and Saturday and be able to go out with friends and have a few beers. Is that a viable option or should I just pick one of the two days?
 
I think if your goal is simply psychological relief from a strict diet, then this plan is viable. However, if your intention is to stimulate metabolism significantly, or replenish glycogen stores, you are better off dedicating one solid day eating above maintenance calories.
 
The goal is entirely psychological. My main curiosity is if it would do more harm than good physically.
