Brother, there isnt such a thing as a cheat day. Your just having a day to remember why your still alive. A cheat day makes it sound like your doing something wrong, enjoy your ribs with a bigass smile on your face.

true (except for the brother part)... ribs with garlic mashed potatos... yummy... i'll be counting the hours till red devil opens for dinner (screw lunch, i want a real portion!)
i know... this board is my salvation from this dieting hell... i hope i don't start having elite cravings when i finally get back to carbing up!!
now i'm thinking about the popcorn and ben&jerry's mint chocolate cookie ice cream that i'll be having during the movie i go see tomorrow... don't even care what movie it is, i'll be in heaven
yeah i thought you were a girl..so i dint get that brother part...except if your like bmom then..she likes to be called that
ive been dieting down for 9 weeks..havent cheated yet.so last night i took a slice of pizza..and i was full..there isnt room for much in my belly now...thank god
i have a cheat day about once or twice a month... keeps me sane and i never end up being as 'bad' as i intend on being... went to the movies and ended up having frozen yogurt instead of icecream...
didn't even end up going for ribs, maybe next week... i'll probably have a few chewy cookies b4 bed though
I said 'screw it' & had a milkshake today. And a few days ago.. and a few days before that. Ok, I'm a major cheater. I'm never going to get anywhere with my diet goals, but like one of you said, it keeps ya sane. BTW: My name's Mindy, I'm new to the board. It's nice meeting all of you!

Luscious: rather than milkshakes, have a protein shake... if you get a good tasting protein powder (i personally like Prolab Pure Whey Chocolate, but i heard the 3/60 one they sell on this board tastes great too) add some ice, milk (i use soy), a half a banana and some peanut butter... put it in a blender and mix it up good... tastes just about as good as a milkshake and its great for you...
when you get used to dieting you'll find ways to make food that is good for you taste good... just have to be creative... and disciplined... taking the easy way out aint gonna get you where you want to get if ya know what i mean
