Griz1 said:Yeah, well that's good if you gym allows chalk.
We actually have a gym in my town (one of the supossedly "premiere" ones) that doesn't allow chalk!
Now tell me just how the fuck someone is supposed to seriously move iron without chalk? I just about laughed in the staff member's face when they told me no chalk was allowed. Needless to say I don't go to that idiotic gym.
BTW if you heat the chalk in a spoon with a dab of water it's a mighty good buzz!!

Baseball section of a sporting good store, or go to a bowling alley. Next best alternative ti chalk, and no mess.Dirt cheap, too.

This was suggested to me and I have been using it ever since. Works great, comes in a small ziploc baggie, cheap, easy...what more do you want!
Nonerz said:was that your suggestion?
Nonerz said:Gloves didn't help me with my grip. In fact, they made it worse because I have relatively small hands and it made the bar "thicker" in a sense, which is harder to hold.
Synpax said:Why not use gloves?
