chains verus bands....

hey whats up guys....well i finally can have some imput in what i do in the gym:) well i benched with chains the other day.....HOLY SHIT......i am yet to try bands...who feels that bands are nothing like chains? or are they both needed to throw up a huge single? thank you for reading my post

good for you for trying new things. chains are great, but bands work so much better, wsb will use chains now to take a break from using bands. bands will burn you out if used for more than 6 weeks straight. thats where the chains come in.

i went to a public gym used the chains and me and my powerlifting bud got some odd looks from the 24 hour fitness people......ya i can see why now bands are better.......any one feel the bands are tough on the joints? shoulders? any pain problems with them? thank you for the help guys
 
i think you should use both..both have great benefits...if i could use only one it would be chains just bc of the joints,,but westside uses both. cycle both of them then off for a while to let your joints rest
 
Best thing about bands is you can easily carry a set around. Not having wheels means i'd kill myself trying to get chains to and from my gym every day :p

that is the truth,....i dont have a car either.....thank you guys for the help on this topic
