Ceramic Tile Question....

I'm thinking of redoing the ceramic tiles I have in the shower, right now I have white tiles with white grout 3/4 the way up the shower wall. I'm considering continuing the tile in a white tile/black tile checkerboard type fashion to the ceiling.

However would gray grout look stupid?? The white grout looks awful when dirty & I'm thinking that gray wouldn't look as bad. I would be removing the grout from the rest of the existing tiles & regrouting so all the tiles will be grouted the same color. Then I'll tile the rest of the bathroom in white tiles with the same color grout......

I think they grey grout would look bad. They make sealers that work pretty well for keeping the grime out of it anyhow.

Yeah, I've tried the sealers before & the grout still get yucky looking.

I guess I've gotta go with white for appearances sake....

just do a granite slab motif. Deck your whole house out in it. Being that you a member of EF, I am sure that you can easily afford it.

The white grout make get dirty...

But the grey will constantly appear dirty. even when it's spotless. know what I mean?
