Cat health question

My cat, Pokey, has been sneezing a lot the last 2 days. She has never been sick and I've never seen her sneeze before. (They're loud and wet) Her appetite seems to be off too.

Does she just have a cold?
Is this a symptom of something more serious?
How long should I wait before I take her to the doctor if it doesn't clear up?

We are having unseasonably warm weather right now, could that be a factor?

Definitely a vet visit is in order....seemingly minor symptoms in cats can be a sign of bigger problems - especially if the sneezing is new and you don't want the no-eating to manifest into much bigger problems....

My friend keeps warning me about a "sneezing sickness" that could eventually cause brain damage. I've never heard of any such disease (doesn't mean it doesn't exist) so I'm a bit sceptical.

Have you ever heard of a "sneezing sickness" ?

could be a blade of grass etc in the nose...

I had a female cat named Pokey, too. I named her after Pokey Reece. Anyway, the sneezing could just be a cold. Otherwise, it could be something very serious. Has she been tested for feline luekemia? Does she have all her shots? Do you let her go outside? Take her to the vet so that you know for sure that it isn't something serious.
