Caseinate or Milk protein isolate - which is better?

the nature boy

New member
I'm looking for a slow digesting protein, both cost about the same... so what's the big difference.... or is there one. Thanks.

No big difference, I've used both from the protein factory and the milk protein isolate there is the ONLY protein drink i've ever been able to use w/ out getting bloated. Milk protein isolate is 80% casein, 20% whey so they are both basically the same. Choose whichever one, they are both good slow digesting proteins.

caseniate is the slower of the two. there isn't a huge differance other then the amino acid sequence, which is differant in every protein. why not due both? combining them would be a potent protein mix high in natural glutamine.

cheers

yeah, as others said milk isnt pure caesin :)
