Cardio while bulking: Your opinion?

Do you believe that it is ideal to do a couple of cardio sessions a week while bulking in order to increase insulin sensitivity and stay lean, or do you believe that it is wasteful as it burns calories that should be used for building mass?

I think that the cardiovascular benefits outweight any fat-reducing benefits you might get out of it. EVERYBODY should be doing at least 30 mins cardio 2-3 times a week.

Being fit is not a matter only of how you look, but how your body is functioning in the inside too. What good would be to have 19`arms if you lose your breath going up two flies of stairs?

Having said that, if you find yourself gaining too much fat while bulking, the alternative to cutting cals (which will reduce your overall growth) is to add more "LOW INTENSITY" cardio to your routines.

Then again. I am a cardio freak

no dude, I know what I'm doing....you need to quit orrying about me....I do cardio 6-7 days a week bar none. Right now, it's a walk in the trails with my dog...when I cut, it's 2x a day and hardcore......cardio is cardio though....no reason to be inactive.

When I bulk, I feel wayyy to lazy if I don't do something. WHen I cut, cardio is 100x more hardcore.....

YOU'RE a pretty funny dude......you've been around a loooong time for a 24 year old or whatever. It must be summer break. My bros on these boards know me man, and know what I'm about. That's why I'm not going to get into a spitting war......grow up chief.
