Cardio or BUST?

When you guys try to add size, clean, do you nix the cardio all together, or just increase cals to overcompensate? Do you find cardio kills your strength? What if you do it forst thing in AM and train later........thoughts?

How about your eating, are you 100% clean, or do you eat whatever as long as your protein is high?

when i am bulking i do cardio but without a lot of intensity.. i just try to get into a fat burning mood and stay there.. i try to maintain a pace where i am barely sweating nothing to grueling.

i feel this will preserve muscle glycogen and burn fat and help the heart and it wont take away from my other workouts at all

when im cutting i use sprints/intervals/hit type cardio
 
when bulking:
i will lift 3x a week (MAYBE a 4th but doubtful)
train in judo/mma 4-5x a week

light cardio 3x a week for 30 mins (plus 5min warmup/5min cooldown)

i dont use a heart rate monitor for the light cardio sessions just try to stay at a pace that keeps me just barely sweating

oh and my diet while training seriously is always very very clean or i get crappy ass results

current stats
5ft6 175 8-10% injured and eating like a fatty for now :(

i adjust my weight/bf% depending on what weight class i will be fighting in next
 
when bulking i dont care and when im bulking i really never have an empty tank

i was never a fan of cardio on an empty tank anyhow
 
I have sex for cardio, 30min of banging is like running a mile. Other times I just walk around a lake 3mile walk.

cardio 70%MHR all year long 2-3 days a week MAX during bulk and cut cycles...
 
I eat clean year round! Don't do cardio too much. When I do want to add some size I limit it to walking on a treadmill at a 5% grade for 20 to 30 mins after working out... it spares you muscles and really eats up the fat.
When I want to get real lean I run as long as I can between 8 and 10mph then walk on the incline the rest of the time.
I don't like to go above 10% bf. It screws with my head and I get depressed (I hold all my fat on my belt line). So I keep fairly lean year round!
