Cardio and weight lifting

Hey guys I wanna know if it's better to do cardio only and lose the fat then do weights or is it ok to lift weights while u Tryin to lose weight?
 
your questions are way to broad... I have been a nutritionist for many years so I can try to help but without knowing your age/stats, it makes it very hard to help you... You have to be more descriptive and then I can try to help...

As far as cardio goes, you need to do both cardio and weights so that you can lose unwanted fat but still maintain muscle... I would do cardio first and then hit the weights after... that is what I have always found the most effective...
 
So how much time should I dedicate to cardio daily and what type of cardio machine is the most effective ?
 
I've always lifted first then do HIIT cardio immediately after for about 30-45 minutes and had great results doing that.

This is a great idea!! It really works. Weight training is really important while losing with. More muscle mass ultimately means the burning of more calories even at a resting weight. You dont just want to lose "weight". You want to lose fat and permanently change your metabolism. This will be done by increasing muscle mass. Dont get caught up on the scale but instead go by how u look and how your clothes feel. Good luck man!
