Carbs During and after workout?

I usually drink a carb drink(Carbo Force) about 70 g of Carbs while training--the question is should i also have alot of carbs post work out(100 g)--i'm 5'8" 182-----that would be about 170 grams of carbs in an hour --------is that too much--please somebody advise
 
Not immediatly after. I would slam down a pure whey amino quick absorbing protien right after and then eat within 1 to 2 hours of that.

Carbs are necessary immediately post workout for an insulin response that will uptake that protein. I usually take in about 110 carbs post workout with 40-60g protein.
 
True, but I don't like the bloat of high carbs right after. Dinner time for me is after a workout anyways so I get my carbs in real food.

tell me what you guys think of this:

1/2 hour before workout: 5g Creatine
immediately before workout: 25g dextrose

immediately after workout: 5g Creatine
1/2 hour after workout: 50g simple carbs, 50g Protein.

Does the timing of all this look right given the new research out on creatine and dextrose?
