Carb up meal 1 & 2... Questions.

All I can say is.. Holy shit I felt like I was going to die.

After allowing my body to adapt to the ckd this past week, today was my carb-up day. I did my circuit training at 9am, then immediately following the workout I consumed 100g/dextrose with a protein shake.

I've never felt so lethargic in my life. I know what the feeling is like, but my body must have went into shock with all the dextrose.
I didn't even want to move. I felt sick to my stomach and very dizzy. Is this normal...?

My second meal was a bagel, cream cheese, and a protein shake. That went down ok, but my stomach felt really full after eating half of the bagel. I felt okay.. alot better than I felt after the first meal.

Are these normal reactions? I'm just a little worried that's all. I don't really feel energetic, but more tired/lethargic than anything.

yeah it's normal for some

read over my manual, I specifically say to lay off the fat - in this case cream cheese - the first 2 meals
That went down ok, but my stomach felt really full after eating half of the bagel. I felt okay.. alot better than I felt after the first meal.
seems like a digestion problem...are you taking in fiber during the week of Ketosis?

yes you will feel lethargic because you're not used to the blood sugar fluctuations during the carb up

The cream cheese is low fat. It only has 0.5g of fat/tbsp. I think I can handle it.. It's not bad.. I hope?

I just started taking fiber this past few days. 3 tablets a day. What's recommended on the box.

I'll see how it works for next week.

Can I break this up into 7 meals rather than 6? Just for my carb up day?

it doesn't matter what the box says the pills are usually very low dosed...make sure you get in 10-15g fiber a day

you can do 7meals if need be
