Car Alarms

Anyone know about car alarms?

I want to add an alarm feature to my car - you know the irritating voice that chirps at you that you are too close to the car? Something along those lines...

I already have the engine and gas cut off type alarm system I would just like to add to that.


Please excuse my lack of alarm talk lingo - I am clueless as to what things are called.

i think it is called a reverse sensing system..

if you really want to know goto.

then go to the expidition and they have it so it will tell you what it is called exactly

viper 550, with the 508d proximity sensor is what you want

if someone comes to close, or looks in the window, it chirps like 5 times, if the go any closer or stick their hand in the window it goes off

you can set off every one that is set.

get the one with the pager that you carry so you know when it goes off,and run a alternate power source so they dont jsut short circuit the system ,thats my plan for when i get my car or truck,i live to close to the reserve and the natives steal around here like you wouldnt believe,no im not racist its the truth
