cancun or mazatlan?

i'm planning next yrs trip already and never been to either, but from what i've seen so far u can go to mazatlan for round 3-5 bills cheaper. is cancun worth the xtra money

I did Maz for spring break, it was cheap and a blast. Plenty of great clubs, great beaches and great women. Of course, this is when I was in college (the early eighties). Things may have changed. Senior Frogs was a great club.

depends what your into....if u just wanna party cheap, u can't go wrong with mazatlan...but if you wanna go somewhere nice..cancuns awesome and the nitelife there is just as good.. i went to cancun in june and it was great.

The Keys and South Beach are full of homos... but if that is your thing, feel free.......

To answer you r original question, Cancun is much better IMO as far as night life..............

Beaches are also better in Cancun, it is easier to travel in Cancun as well...

I would go with Cancun/Cozumel if you are looking to party.... The Keys if you are gay.

There are Crocodiles in Cancun too, I didnt know that.

I've only been to Cancun, but here's my arguement:

Everywhere cool costs fifty cents to go to. Just grab a bus, give the guy money and you're there in under 15 minutes. All the places are on one long-ass strip. Then, when you get there, you usually pay a cover charge, and it's open bar, such as Bulldog Cafe, LaBoom, and Coco Bongo club. Senor Frog's and places like that are cool, but you gotta pay by the drink which gets pricey, especially when you're so drunk, you have trouble converting peso's to dollars. The mexican's are known for screwing american's like that.

By the way, all I did was get an all inclusive package. I got room and board at the hotel and just brought cash to tip ppl. and buy souvenirs. So, you can't starve...just make your way back to the hotel!
