can you get ripped without drinking a gallon?

I'm a fairly large guy, so I can easily drink 2 gallons of water/day

heck - I woke up extra thirsty (around 3am) , - grabbed a gallon of H2O and by 4:30 it was gone - I feel the bloat for about 10min, then the H2O leaves my stomach and goes and does it's job - I know it's said all the time, but adequate water consumption is SOOOOOOOO important to almost every bodily function.
 
I don't know why but I have a really hard time drinking that much water. I really have to force it down and feel very uncomfortable.
 
i think it's just that I'm ALWAYS thirsty

I use NO added sodium in my diet, and I eat foods that have very little sodium.

I think this speeds up the process at which my body cycles the water in and out, and that's why i am always THIRSTY.

I could EASILY drink 3-4 gallons/day - I don't cause I don't know how safe it is

Is that too much?

you said you're a big guy - 4 gallons might be pushing it though. Water poisoning really does happen.

Water is essential, its what delivers all the fucken protein and nutrients you shovel into your mought to your muscles.

I bet your not even 200 soaking wet.. j/k bro! :rolleyes: But, Im the same way, easily 2 gallons a day..Especially now, since its getting warmer..

I am able to go below 1 gallon a day as long as i keep my sodium intake very low and still get fairly decent results but if i'm seriously cutting i have to have 1.5 gallons at least in order not to retain fluid. It does get to be a bit much though but i live in south florida so the heat keeps you pretty thirsty.


Think you can give me a number to go by on that low sodium intake for the day? I know everyone says to keep sodium low, but a ballpark number of miligrams a day would be a good starting point for me to figure it all out.
 
I'm never thirsty.
I drink 2-3 small cups of decaf java every day and 1 cup of decaf tea.
no juices, 1 soup and some water but I'm almost never thirsty so what ever water I drink (and hate it cold) I have to force it down.

I have a water machine at my office and one at home.

ps. I know coffee/tea/soup is no substitution for water.

How many times an hour do you guys take a piss?
when I up my water I'll often be pissing 3-4x every hour.
when I'm on the road, every time I stop to see a customer or supplier I have to piss right away.
 
1/2 to 1 gallon here and that's pushing it. But i usaully go by how dry i feel and around this time of the year almost a gallon is a must. Pissing alot.
