no i dont think so. it takes like 2 weeks for the flu shot to actually produce the antibodies necessary to fight the flu and you'll be recoverd by then. if you give yourself a flu shot now all you'll do is weaken your immune system by adding more flu antigens into your body, distracting your immune system from the real flu.

I don't have the flu per se............just a little head cold............is the answer still no???

I just had one last week and all they wanted to know was if I had a fever or felt very sick. I don't think a little cold would matter.

depends on whether your head cold is due to the flu. If its due to the flu then i wouldn't get the shot. if the head cold is due to the cold then i would go ahead and get the flu shot.
