Can you do jail time in the US for any amount of roids?

Was wondering if you had to have a certain amount or if you had to be selling to do any jail time. If you are caught with a small 1 cycle amount would it be a fine or jail time? thanks

Each state has their own laws regarding punishment/fines for AAS I believe.

Here in florida, the possession of steroids without a valid prescription is a third degree felony (any amount) punishable by up to five years in Florida state prison.

The sale or distribution, which, under Florida law, can mean merely giving the drug to another person, is a second degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in state prison.

i live in FL too and it is nonsense. although I don't agree with legalizing it.. i do think it should be de-criminalized.
