The more my friends and I talk about it, the more it seems Neo is actually a program or an AI experiment by the machines. He was the 6th or 7th "The One" that have made it to the architect. They were all given the choice of going through the two doors. The first door led to Zion being destroyed by the sentinels. After Zion was destroyed, "The One" would help rebuild Zion then select people to "unplug" to rise up against the machines thus recreating the cycle. What I don't get about this part is are they doing this as an experiment to see if they can program their AI specimens to act more human by choosing the other door out of love for trinity? If so, then they have succeeded with Neo. After Neo chose to save trinity and made it back to Zion, he realized that Zion was another part of the Matrix which is how he stopped the sentinels. And since Agent Smith has figured this out, that means he'll be able to create duplicates of himself in Zion. From there, I have no clue what'll happen. The more and more I think about the movie, the more of a mindfuck it really is.

yup. i drove myself crazy trying to unravel the circular reality of the first one. i imagine i'll do the same over this one, too.

that makes sense to me too now. i was thinking that zion had to be another part of the matrix, for those that rejected the matrix (as was mentioned in the first movie about the perfect world). it seems to me that the matrix may have been an add on program/world to help those plugged in who were restless, feel as if there was something more. those hackers that were tired of the humdrum life. zion is the ultimate in struggle which seems very "real" to people. the harder they are oppressed and forced to live for freedom, the more acceptable it is as "reality". so basically its an add on program for those that reject "reality" or the matrix proper. that was my thoughts on it. agents werent a part of the zion matrix and somehow agent smith's programming got changed where he wasnt "plugged in" anymore and is able to move more freely into zion.

your wrong Neo is not a porgam but An individual that tranceded the limitations of the matrix.

Zion is real, its out side controll of the machines, an idependant world.

Also when Neo meets the arhitect the architect tells Neo that he is the 6th one, but that he was different than all the others because his powers and abilities were truly rooted in love, the others had their abilities from ego, some other inferior source or whatever.

the achtect said that the program of the matrix proper is the best one that they could come up with they he said that guys like Neo and the ones who they liberate are a predicatble constant in humanity, that their are always a few that can transend the limitation imposed on them by controll, and that after a while these leaders can muster up enough resistance that they can actually challenge the system, this is a cyclical porcess.

the architect realized that this is a constant and rather than crush all members of Zion he rather contoll it by getting just enough humans (27) wich is enough to porpgate another breed of Zion individuals who would go about free people once again form the matrix.......thus they can controll where the threat comes from instead of it popping up elsewhere..........

all the other ones took the door of comprimise, they swallowed the bitter pill of comprimise, and they rarther save the illusion of Zion for a better tommorrow for another "one" to take care of the true problem....or maybe they just felt hopeless.........Neo is rooted in blind love and hope thus he rather loose it all and really try than give up


Neo is different he chose LOVE at the epossibility of losing it all.......because of this he is starting to tap into his true abilites as a human thus he was able to stop sentinals in the real world.........he is tapping into somthing something in all of are humanity something that gets silienced when we are in the sytem.

he actaully stopped the sentinals with his metaphysical powers all that raining in the matrix, and his refusal to give up at all cost has devolpoed something in him, something develpoed through great stuggle , struggle during a time when only hope and love can propell us............
