Can someone explain "Draw and Shoot"?

Hi,

I'm going to do a Test (LE or Cyp not sure yet)/EQ cycle soon. Never injected before.

What i'm confused about is the philosophy of "Draw and Shoot". or more specifically, using one needle to "draw" (eg: 21g) and then another needle to shoot (eg: 25g).

Why? What's the reasoning? How do you transfer it from one needle to another?

I draw it out with a larger gauge needle and then switch it so I have a sharper and sanitary needle to inject with. Just twist the needle used to draw it with off and put a new one on.

The needles are removable. So purchase some larger(20 ga) for drawing from the vial or amp so it doesn't take 15 minutes to draw out 3 cc's. Then remove the large one and replace with the one for your injection(23 ga). You can use one needle for everything if you like, but using a new one will ensure cleanliness and it won't be dulled by passing it through the stopper of a vial. Hope this helps bro. getpinz.com is the answer for getting needles ony and complete syringes.

You remove the pin you draw with because it can be dulled and the top may be infectious(unlikely though). People draw with bigger needles because it's faster and less likely to clog.

The needles unscrew from the syringe. You put the 21g on, "draw" the fluid from the bottle, then unscrew it and put the 25g and inject. You can certainly use the 21g to inject, but once you see the size of them side by side you'll probably choose the 25g. Also, if you're using a vial, you'll dull the 21g pushing it through the stopper. In this case I can guarantee you, injecting with a dull 21g needle is not a fun thing to do.

Make sure you aspirate.

i just bought 100 25g 1" b&d needles off of getpinz.com

should i have gotten something else? now i feel like an idiot and gotta do another order.

Razor, if you do decide to use two different pins, I wouldn't use anything smaller then a 20g needle to draw with. I've noticed that when you go smaller then that, the needle tends to rip the rubber stopper and leaves little rubber pieces in the vial. U definitely don't want to suck one of those up and inject it.

Razor, if you do decide to use two different pins, I wouldn't use anything smaller then a 20g needle to draw with. I've noticed that when you go smaller then that, the needle tends to rip the rubber stopper and leaves little rubber pieces in the vial. U definitely don't want to suck one of those up and inject it.

get like 25 20g. 1- 1.5" needles then.. not that expensive.. see if u can call or e-mail them to add it on to your order.
remember to inject air into the vial this makes sucking up the test/eq oil easierand you'll get exactly the amount of oil that u injected... then switch needles, and put on the smaller one and inject that shit! remember to clean with alcohol before and after. good luck injecting.. 23's didn;t hurt,so 25 must be buttah!

I usually get the "Special #3":

# 100 piece of your choice (3 CC) Terumo syringe with needle.

# 100 piece of your choice of Terumo needle only.

# 1 pack alcohol wipes.

I get 100 23g 1.5" needle only and 100 20 1.5" syringe + needle.
