Can protein powder go bad?

I found a tub of Isopure in the back of my closet that I forgot was there. It has a expiration date of 5/05. Does powder really go bad? Being a year out of date, is there no nutritional value here now or what?

I don't think that protein powders can go bad, unless exposed to sunlight or extremely hot temperatures. If its been in your closet, sheltered from high temperatures, I believe its just fine.

I'm sure its fine.. exposed to extreme heat, light or moisture, i'd question its potency, but even then......it's good, eat up.
