Can injection sites go bad?

I used to be able to inject into my delts and tris without one drop of blood. Now, every single time I use of of those sites blood just gushes out as soon as I pull the needle out. I doubt that suddenly I am hitting a vein every single time. Injection technique has not changed either: 25G 5/8". I always aspirate and only one time did I get blood, but like I said, even when there is no blood during aspiration the site starts bleeding as soon as I pull the needle out. When I use a site that I had not previously used, i.e. biceps, there is no blood at all. What's going on?

Maybe the point of the needle is dull.

I am using the same brand as before (Terumo), and I obviously always use a new needle. So I don't think that that has anything to do with it.

Are you drawing with the same needle?
A few times I drew with the same needle and the point became dull cause of the pressure I was putting on the pin against the glass amp.
Now I always draw with an 18g and shoot with a fresh 23g every time.:)

try pulling the skin really tight while injecting...it helped me alot

Chances are you are going through scar tissue when injecting which is the cause of the sudden bleeding upon pulling out of the injection site. The reason you are not bleeding from a fresh injection site is because there is no scar tissue :) But pulling the skin tight before the injection will help, it may take some geting used to though

same problem...

i use the same exact guage terumo syringes...guessin it has nothin to do with the needle, its the frequency of shots in the same location...especially when one shoots fina everyday, even if you rotate, scar tissue and small abcesses can pop up...well anyway, i think i have a small abcess in my right delt because towards my 4th week of fina I focused more on site injecting my shoulders instead of thighs/ass...and everytime i shoot near that tight knot/abcess (whatever it is) i bleed...ive never bled after pullin out as much neither...anyway i stopped shootin there for a week...and the next time i shot there, what i did was: as i sit on a chair id rest my elbow on a table...id grab a slab of my relaxed delt with my other hand(left hand) and carry the syringe with my right..then, id shoot str8 down like a hook with my right hand right into my right delt from the slab im grabbin...i had no probs liek that...and every now and then i'll shoot the rear delt to give it som etime to heal...thats jus my experience..and for my tight knots/abcesses(whatever) from the fina shots..ive been using a heat pad and hittin the sauna at my gym..i work at a gym so its convenient...and its been goin down

your going to have to try a 1" pin in the delts and tris. As i got bigger I had the same problem, but with the longer pin i run into it alot less frequently. BTW i can still use the 5/8 in the bis with no probs. give it a try and see how it works.

Come to think of it, tonight I noticed for the first time that there must be some scar tissue in my shoulder because it made that weird sound that I get every time I inject into my quad. Why would going through scar tissue cause bleeding, though? If anything, shouldn't there be less blood? Also, is there any way to avoid building up scar tissue -- I thought using a 25G and alternating sites would be good enough, but obviously I was wrong. Once the scar tissue is there, will things go back to normal eventually? (I am talking about the bleeding -- I know that the scar tissue won't go away). Lots of questions, but I really appreciate everyone's help.
