Can I eat protien powder without mixing it?

I just bought some optimum 100% whety - ice cream vanilla flavor, it tates like shit with water. It smells good, so I decided to take a spoonful and eat it and it tates pretty good. It tastes like a dry milk flavor. If I eat it with a spoon from a bowl then wash it down with water after im finished will it still get absorbed. Im just curious if mixing protein powder is a must.

yeah it should be no problem
i think if it's straight liquid it will probably be absorbed quicker but it's not useless

I don't see a problem if you can get it down but I would take water with it but you should be sucking down as much water as you can regardless.

I got this protein one time that tasted like what I think bear piss would tast like. So I got some big empty pill caps from sun harvest and filled it in there. It was time consuming but I couldn't taste that nasty protein anymore.

I usually take a scoop of unflavored protein powder and mix it into my oatmeal for a protein kick, so you should be good to go.
