Can HCG live out of the fridge?

Dont agree with 28 days out of fridge bacteriostatic water is not sufficient for this depending on form it will last 30 to 60 in fridge

Seems we ahave a split vote.... where did u come across this info of 28days? And is that after it's been re-consituted?

Yes. Manufacturer's recommendations (Novarel); also, refrigeration only stretches this to 60 days. Anecdotally, it still seems to have most (but not all) of its potency up to 3 months.

Probably the most reliable data, however, would come from the ELISA standards for measuring free hCG used in controlled experiments. For storing hCG controls, the study designers state:
"Reconstituted [hCG] standards should be stored sealed at 2-8 degrees C, (36-46 degrees F) and it will be stable for at least two weeks at that conditions." Since these are controls, they have to have stable hCG levels so we know it's good at least 14 days in a cool, dry place.

That's not what my package inserts for Novarel have ever said, and that's not what the manufacturer's website says.

From: http://www.ferringusa.com/fertility_products/insert_novarel.htm

AFTER RECONSTITUTION WITH BACTERIOSTATIC WATER FOR INJECTION PRESERVED WITH BENZYL ALCOHOL 0.9%, REFRIGERATE THE PRODUCT AT 2° - 8° C (36° - 46° F) AND USE WITHIN 30 DAYS.

Once I mix my hcg with the solvent (or bac.water) can it live out of the fridge for a few days (like 5)?

Keep it in the fridge, I wouldn't risk keeping it out of the fridge for 5 days.

u live in canada? just find a place to store it outside...

this is actually a good suggestion, a cool dark place outside (ideally inside another airtight container).....

though depends on the temps where you are in canada (guessing that they likely fall within the range )

I would think it would freeze if left outside in canada,at least during the winter month's.

Yes, I know, you are absolutely correct. That's standard commercial info for the masses. I'm looking at stuff we use to run controlled experiments in the lab.
