Calves.. how do you make them burn?

I've been recently doing dc workouts and so calves normally come at the end of each lower body workout, normally with deep stretching and high reps.

How do you train your calves? High reps low reps? Low volume high volume?

Personally ive been blessed with good calves, and so that just drives me to make the best out of them and so i just wanted to try new ways to train them to see how they respond.
 
I do them on Leg day(obviously I guess). The last workout went like this:

I. Squatting Calf Raises on the Smith Machine:

2 Sets 0f 10.

II. Seated Calf Raises:

1 Set of 10.
1 set of 5.

III. Tib Raises:

2 sets to failure.

Trained once/week.
 
I do 3 sets of standing and 3 sets of seated. Usually something like 160x30, 200x20, 240x12 for both. I use freeweights for both. They get pretty fried from that.
