Caloric Intake while cutting?

Hey bros,

Been holding steady at about 200 lbs for a good 6 months and i feel its time to loose another good 20-30lbs quick. I lost the same amount last year begining Feb and ending about 2 1/2 months later.
Im curious, what should the caloric intake be while cutting? I was thinking of just drinking protien shakes for breakfast and lunch and eating dinner. That should keep me at 200g of protein a day and about 350cals per shake= 700 from shakes and ill try to keep the dinner to about 800 cals, SO 1500 cals. Will i shed hella muscle with low ass cals even if i keep my protien high enough? All i will take is xenadrine (it worked before, so ima do it again).
the carbs will be hella low in this diet also....

Any ideas, opinions appreciated.

I have done similar in the past, protien shakes for breakfast/lunch with tons of water throughout the day and would have a decent dinner, splurg a little. I was about 500 cals deficient or so a day. Weekends I would just eat normal and get more cals. You can still make gains while losing fat, but they are a bit slower. I lost a good 7%bf in about 8 weeks doing the above with ECA.
 
Cool, i was thinking that if my protein was about 1g/lb body weight, i could keep my muscle, even while only taking about 1500 cals a day.
 
I would try not to cut any more than 500 cals a day from maint(this numbers vary for each person). In my experience I find that if you cut too much your body thinks its starving and hold onto fat that much more. It will work fast for a while, but as you body adjusts to you new lowered intake, it will slam on the metabolic brakes. Thats one reason I eat normal on weekends, to try and prevent my system from adapting and slowing metabolism.
