I wanted to see what all you guys listen to. I usually listen to Johnny Cash, Hank Sr. and Jr., David Allan Coe and stuff like that. What other older coutry singers do you guys listen to? I know there on some rednecks on this board. Iron

not a redneck and not a fan of redneck music but I love the song "honkey tonk man" sung by clint eastwood and somebody else from the movie "honkey tonk man". It's a great song IMO. I dig the lyrics.

btw, eastwood is a pretty good singer. well in this song anyway.



i dig kenny rogers music too somewhat. don't laugh at me.

Seen DAC in concert a few times!!!! The Highwaymen...whew!!! I love the old stuff.

I think one of the best concerts that I went to had to be Charlie Daniels Band and Hank Williams Jr.!!!! WOOOHOOO!!! I had a blast.

I also saw Conway Twitty in concert with Loretta Lynn and they were not bad, either.

I LOVE old George Jones music!! "White Lightening" lol

I'll have you know I am not a redneck, but I still love country music. Hey, I'm from Tennessee, I gotta love some of it. lol Plus, you just gotta love The Devil Went Down to Georgia or The Race is On. (yep, Night Fly, I'm a George fan too.) Then there's Merle, Hank Jr., Waylon. THere is a lot of new music that's awesome too.
