Call from detective???

Ok I might be sounding a bit paranoid but here is the situation.

When I came home today my brother asked if I had done anything that might have got someone confused with him. So I couldn't think of anything. But he said that a Detective called and left a message for him to call him back, he called but the guy was off today.

Well now I'm stuck thinking of what it could be and My fina order popped into my head.

My brother used his Debit card to order the fina for me....So now I'm getting nervous and thinking that it might be because of that.

What should I do...if the fina is converted or if it isn't??

Is it common for a detective to call if they have suspecion? I got it from a well known and used by many supplier...but maybe somehow Law Enforment of some kind got a hold of this companys customer list and is chcking with buyers?

I'm a bit nervous about this and would be at ease once my brother talks to the detective and lets me know what it was about...but I'd like to give my brother a heads up and remind him that it might be because of the order he made for me.

Regardless if I had an idea of what the detective was up to, I would clean house until I found out what was up, converted or not. Also I would be on here asking for some insight like your doing. I'd like to hear more thoughts on this myself, good luck bro.

If the company where you bought the fina from is a legit company, then they have to report your info in some paperwork they do. Thats why it is advisable not to buy it with a traceable method like a debit card.

Though if you got this mail order and the detective is local PD I would not be concerned. He could just be trying to see if you or your bro witnessed a bar fight because someone said you might have been there or something like that.

If you call the detective back and he is not really clear about what he is after, then dont say anything suspicious. Dont hang up, but say you are late for work, etc. and you have to go for now. Try not to arise any more suspicion, and get off the phone. If you talk to him after that, do it with a lawyer.

He could have called for all kinds of things...I would try and relax until you know more info...it could be anything (ALOT of non AS related things at that...)
In the meantime keep a clean house (everyone here should be keeping it clean anyway...)

Right. My advice is to NOT call him back. You aren't obligated to do so.

I totally agree with not giving them a call back. Anything you say can be used against you as evidence.

I would not call them back. Post this on the Legal board too. Great advice over there. The detectives can lie, cheat and steal to get what they want from you! You may think calling them is the right thing... but... the judge will not care one bit!!!

I know keeping a "clean house" is mentioned alot. I'm never really sure what that means. I assume it means not having any gear at the house. This doesn't seem practical if you are on a cycle. There isn't any secret. If there is the possibility of "heat", then you clean everything out that the heat might use against you. Obviously that means gear, as well as parafernelia, and your PC.
