ok folks - for the 3 yr marker on my wedding ann. I am taking the wife to cabo san lucas for some well deserved fun. I have 10 weeks to shred down to a decent body fat % in order to not shame myself when I am with my wife on the beach - she makes me sick...two kids and she is under 10% BF...sheesh...

so...once I get there..any suggestions?

Check out the Cabo Wabo bar and club. Great food, awesome tequila.

The Giggling Marlin is always fun, a little trashy, but fun for sure. Great place to pick up college co-ed or cougars on the prowl.

Sqid Roe is a popular club for dancing.

Couple other big clubs in that area.

I'd spend some time on the beach for sure. You can pick up some green or white from dealers on the beach if you are into that. Cuban cigars everywhere and of course good tequila.

Go fishing if you have the time. Not sure if its Marlin season now, I think it is, and when they are hitting there is no thrill like it.

I rode some ATVs around the desert too, was fun, but you can do that in many places. Only do it if you have some extra time.

I'd check out neighboring San Jose Del Cabo too, its small, authentic feeling, quaint, and has some cool shops and a laid back feel.

Everything he said. He gave me the best advice when I went there in the past.

Really though, there isn't much to do but drink and fuck. The water is often too rough to swim behind the resorts (and rocky), the ATV is nasty as hell when you are finished. Parasailing is popular...

however unlike the rest of Mexico this is NOT cheap. Not even their cheap souveniours are cheap.

thanks folks...now if I can get into the single digits BF% I will be ready to go..time to hit the cardio... :-(

Dude, if you only have 10 weeks before going, it is going to be a wasted effort to cut until you are in the single digit bodyfat. You are going to extremely depleted your body and as soon as you have the first drink or carb meal, you are going to flood out of control and bloat up like a blimp.

Getting to single digits does not ensure you will maintain single digit for very long. Even pros hardly keep it under control for longer than 24 hours. If you want to walk about in single digits everday, you got to coast into that state and then maintain it long enough for your body's homeostasis to accept that the new level of conditioning is permenant and this is where it will be operating and functioning at. Then it is easier to look good and eat what you want (within reason) as opposed to feeling miserable and then having to eat picky and not enjoy your vacation.

just about everything is expensive. We rented a car to go check out some other places, but you can do just fine with the cabs if you just want to head into downtown cabo.
We hit up a place called Club Mart and loaded up on food and booze on the first day.
I wouldnt stay out past 2am thou. We were 'randomly' searched by the cops while walking down the street, this was right after we were offered various drugs every 2 blocks.

Be prepared to say "no" every 30 seconds once your outside the resort.
If your a certified diver thats fun. I think you can even do a 1/2 day class and still go diving.
We did some marlin fishing, half the people on our boat got seasick, so if your prone to that stay away!

In regards to the bf%, thanks..I did not realize that this would happen. I will try to simply cut up and not kill myself to get to single digits from where I am at at this current point.

as for staying out after 2am..thanks as well. I will make sure to keep my wife and I off the streets and back at the hotel during the late hours....

I appreciate all your input. I am new to the site and so far have really enjoyed the fact that everyone is extremely helpful. - peace
