One more thing, you should be able to take that nut off with the screw driver, save the thing, put it on your home line, that way when you re-connect it, it appears professional!
The type they use in Canada, called a terminator if you'll believe that.. Anyways when you turn it, the whole thing spins, so you can't remove it, without the proper tool.. I was so amazed by this device, I had to figure a way to beat it.. I did heres how:
If you use a hacksaw and cut half way (approx) through it, then take visegrips or good channel locks and squeeze the shit out of it where you cut it.. Once you have a good grip, you can turn the whole thing off... There is an inner sleeve, that is where the thread is, so when you spin it, it doesn't undo, but if you cut and pinch it, you'll defeat it..
The cable company puts on filters that block certain channels, they are about three inches long and metalic, somtimes with a stripe on it.. Remove these, they will give you more channels...
BTW, I keep my tools when I quit the company, it makes me some money on the side...
