I broke down 4mg tabs into 1mg each, I am unsure of splitting them further though. I am going with 1mg every 6th day for now I guess.

I could go 1mg every 4th day, but I wonder if there is a danger of lowering prolactin too much?

Good question. Bizzump.

Well the release of prolactin during sex supposedly increases brain cells. Just an fyi, whether it has anything to do with suppression of prolactin i dont know?

Prolactin is used in immune system signaling. In other words, it's a hormone you're immune systems uses to communicate with its various components. While Dostinex appears to be site specific, to the pituitary, I'd still be concerned about this potential interaction.

For people with severely suppressed PRL levels there are sides. Those include runny nose, headaches, fatigue, and occasionally nausea.

To the first question: it works very quickly. At just .25mg (not .5 and not 1) 2x EW I had a PRL level of 1 in just two weeks. From what I could tell the anti-refractory effect starts working within the first week.

For people with severely suppressede PRL levels there are sides. Those include runny nose, headaches, fatigue, and occasionally nasuea.

Thx, you said it went down to 1 in two weeks, what is the normal range?

The reference range was 2 to 18 NG/ML. I don't know what I was at prior to taking the Dostinex, but I have been routinely in the area of 14 NG/ML when tested on other occasions.

I'm beginning to think I never really "needed" Dostinex, nor do I suspect most people that think they do (on here at least).
