I have just seen a broadcast on what I believe they are calling C-Reactive Protein. Evidently it's suppose to be the prime source for knowing whether you are at risk for a heart attack or not. It has to do with plaque and not cholesterol. The argument is that cholesterol is not a big cause of heart attacks and C-reactive proteins are.
This leads me to wonder if steroids don't alter the C-reactive proteins. Because some think that gear can cause heart attacks. As you can tell...I know very little about this topic and would like to know some more about it. Any info or studies?
