I have 3 clients of my own. I'm working with Fancy Publications on some copyright issues with one of their photographers.
Did I mention I'm starting my own business?
BTW... I'm published as well... my friend.
Rick -- I sent you the information via E-mail for the Dateline contact.

That's good. I asked you on a thread if you were self-employed after you talked about interviewing and how you don't look like a lawyer and pay the consequences. You never answered. You don't like rapping with me so I bust your balls.

I'm on the West Coast now, about to tackle the CA Bar exam this Summer, but my heart is in the Windy City -- no place better. You know what I am talking about (not the weather).

Just to rap:
What kind of case was the Merrill Lynch settlement? Where did you file it? Chicago? Fed Ct? State Ct?
Is Fancy the name of the publisher?
I had 3 cases in Cook County Law Division (on the side while also working at an insurance defense firm

A friend of mine just opened an office in Lincoln Park after 4 years with the State's Attorney. I'd love to have my own firm as well.
What kind of firm are you opening (or opened)? General practice or Copyright/TMs? It's tough at first, I know, and I too hate going into these fucking dorks interviewing for a job. Where did you open your office? Loop? West Loop? Where? Any partners yet?
I have a great idea for a class action. If you are interested in collaborating, let me know. It is right up our alley.
