You should do, I was at uni there for a bit, and the nightlife is amazing, the crumpet is first class as well (second to Manchester of course).

I used to work on the door of a club there, and for the life of me I can't remember the name of it (This is damned annoying). I was gonna tell you to try and avoid it, because it was the biggest gay club in the north. Well I can't remember, so you'll have to take your chances, haha. Some of the sights I saw there are engraved on my mind forever unfortunatley, haha.
