Can we decide what the BEST food is cutting or bulking, to eat before training? Talking a good hour to 1.5 before..........

I am currently dosing 1/2 cup of oats and a scoop of protein to keep me roaring.....thinking something might be better......str8 pro. shake doesn't give me the energy and a big meal slows me down........Karma!
 
This depends on you.

Try different food an hour before you train i.e. one day try pasta another day try potatoes. You will find one that gives you the most energy and sustainable energy!!!

For me its white rice. If I eat brown rice it doesnt have the same effect.
 
bro I betta get some good karma for this, I am doing a competition and I know what your saying eat complex carbs that will fill you up and give you energy but doesn't make you very lathargic in the gym like sweet potatoes, brown rice, Oatmeal, you can have anyone of them with a shake thats what I do for two meals out of my day because of my diet I'm down 12 lbs and I still have enough energy in the gym...If you want to know more about my diet PM me JMO..........KARMA
 
its actually Gcis40 but anyway bro for cutting THE BEST TYPE OF CARBS PRE WORKOUT ARE CARBS LIKE SWEET POTATOES, OATMEAL, BROWN RICE, BUT MAKE SURE TO THROW IN SOME PROTEIN NOT TOO MUCH JUST ENOUGH TO ADD SOMETHING TO YOUR STOMACH....THOSE CARBS WILL GIVBE YOU ENERGY BUT WITHOUT THE RESUTLS OF EATING SHITTY CARBS SO YOUR BODY WILL BURN THEM OFF FASTER..IF YOU WERE LOOKING TO BULK I WOULD SAY EAT ALL YOU CAN JUST DON'T EAT LIKE A MAD MAN BEFORE YOU LIFT, IF YOU WANT TO BULK UP JUST EAT BRO THAT SIMPLE
