It's a must do experience. It is held 100 miles north of Reno deep in the desert... there is NO vending... so all your gear, food, and water has to be packed in. Only a very responsible type personality can handle the event... so you definitely draw a unique crowd. (Imagine a crowd of 25,000 mostly sensible people. It's kind of hard to comprehend.) Then you have total creativity and mirth unleashed for a week or two as we build Black Rock City... then we burn it all to the ground.
