I am doing the CKD bulk thing right now. I have a real sensitivity to carbs where I use to be a FAT 290 pounds. I am now preatty lean but still have some stomach fat and weight 180. I am having the big carb up for 6 hours Friday night and lifting Saturday morning and having a big carb up Saturday night and lifting Sunday morning. How can I tell if I am overtraining? I do bis,tris,chest and back on Saturday with 2-3 sets each and about 8 or so reps. On Sunday I do legs and shoulders. The legs get about 5 exercises with 3-4 reps and shoulders 2 exercises with 3 reps. I then do the same workout Tuesday and Wednsday but I do a 15/12/8 scheme or something like that where I only realy do 1 heavy set and onl;y rest about 1=1/2 min. between sets. I cut cardio down to 2-3 20 min. sessions a week. I do no feel real tired but I am kinda new to the bulking routines. My arms are still REAl cut but I want them bulkier and bigger. Oh yeh, on my carb nights I get about 500-600 grams. Mostly oats,yams,potatoes but the first night I try to get about 200 grams of sugary stuff. Is cardio after the weights bad or should it be on seperate days. My buddy told me to try a bulking routine he is doing. He has 9 basic movement exercises. He does all of them 3 times a week. On Monday he does 1x10, wed. 2x10, and Friday 3x10. Has anyone heard of anything like that?
