bulking in the summer

im hoping to start a wieght training program when i go to college. im a little heavy because i always had a lot to eat on my dads farm.

can i get a good program from here to follow?

you should keep eating alot but lift along with it.

but if u wanna cut first go on the subway diet, or cut ur fat off with a knife. you cant feel it cause its a proven fact that fat has no nervese
 
I gained like 5lbs in the past couple weeks. I am bulking - I was considering DNP in the winter cause that shit would kill me in the heat here. I like to do dangerous things, what can I say.

Man I hear you are miserable on DNP. Like this one guy was saying it was unbearable and he'd sleep with like two fans blowing on him and he couldnt take it
 
yeah I hear the shit is rough too.

A lot of people say its more tolderable than clen though - I didnt like clen.

I've been injured for most of the past year and recently had surgery. I'm just now starting to lift again. I'll be bulking as soon as my shoulder recovers enough to handle some heavy iron. I don't care if it is swimming pool/beach season. I need to get some meat on my bones.

im not sure how this happens but in summer i always lose a ton of weight

2 years ago i lost 30lbs... takes me a good few months to rebuild it all

I've been back strong for 2 weeks and I got nothing to "cut" yet, so I'm bulking as well. I'm sorta doing it slow so I don't get too fat because I started out of shape already. I usually start bulking when lean and small, but now I'm small and fat. lol

Still gonna add muscle. Let's call it "BUILD" muscle. Everything else will fall into place. Nothing wrong with gaining muscle.

I haven't been eating well lately partially due to being so busy and on long hours at work. As soon as it slows down a bit, I'm gonna start up again too. Don't know if I'd call it a bulker, but I'm upping my HRT test doasge to 1000mg/week and will probably throw in 400mg/wk of Deca. Probably run for 12 weeks then back down to 200mg/week test.
 
I just can't even think about doing that. It's only warm in my state for such a short time of year. I live in jeans and sweaters 9 months a year. I want to be able to look yummy when it's actually warm enough to show a little skin.

THis is the worst shape I've been in aerobically probably since my 20's. I just don't have the desire to do any aerobic activity right now.

night time walks with music are pretty sick. You should try those for starters. See if you can get back into the grove that way.

I'm sure you know this but... you can change your metabolism. You're not "stuck" with a slow/bad metabolism for life. Is your cardio health good? You may benefit from getting that capacity increased. Eating the right kinds of food will also help, and from talking to you previously, it seems like you're doing pretty good in that area. If I were you, I'd speed up that metabolism a bit. You CAN do things simultaneously.

It's never wrong to improve cardiovascular health, and you'll be improving metabolism as well. It may be increasing insulin sensitivity.

i was running once a week but i pretty much stopped that..ill probably start up again after im done with this 5x5 (in 8 more weeks)
 
I try to micro-cycle my phases in training in diet.
November to February: eat lots of kcals and stay warm
March to June: eat lots of kcals and stay cool
July to October: eat lots of kcals and not die of heat

I've been a fat 305 and now I am a fairly lean (for me) 280...I just really need to push to be over 290.

I'm still fairly lean, and at 5'8" I feel like I'm packing on some good size.


I'd like to get up to 220 and then diet down and be a lean 200lbs - but that aint gonna happen anytime soon.

you got some weight on you Bfold - I bet your lifts are insane.

Better than average probably...but way behind a lot of guys I compete against here in Europe. Must get stronger.

I unfortunately am around 20% bodyfat, and I'm obsessed with landing a babe this summer, therefore I cant bulk.

No offense bro, but if your goals are "landing a babe" then all you need to be is skinny and or lean. I workout for me. I used to love the attention from the ladies, but now it aint about that. It's about me being big enough and lean enough to make ME happy. At 6'1" 250 and about 15% I'm almost there. I've always said I'd be happy at 240 and 10%, but got to -10% @ 230 last summer and it wasn't even close. I guess what I'm saying is that some of us will never be happy. Good luck to you.

yeah, i know being lean helps when landing a babe, which is why im working out more and trying to lose some fat. That is a good spot to be in, where you just workout for yourself. I dont know if I will ever be like that. I dont aspire to become big, and right now unfortuantely I am just obsessed about women.
But thats very true that much of us wont be able to find hapiness by chasing some physical goal. heck, when i get a woman i probably wont be happy either. yet i still feel compelled to find one.

Hey bro, I'm in Minnesota too. Plymouth to be exact, so I feel the summer bug too. How old are you? I'm guessing early 20's? I was the same way then. As I got older I realized making me happy was the most important thing. Whatever that means :rolleyes:

Dude, I dont understand why you're obsessing over women so much. What do you expect of them? A girlfriend can be great, but I dont think thats exactly what you need. I dont know what it is, but I think your missing some other element in your life...sure, get a women if you can, but really do some thinking afterwards because you need to revaluate you priorities.

I'm 28 and still got a lot of growing up to do. When I was 21 all I thought about was women. You got a few years left to party, but trust me, if you find "the one" don't let her go. I'm no expert, but I've been there bro.
