R-ala (Alpha Lipoic Acid) for those who don't know is said to mimic insulin, enhance glucose utilisation, lower blood sugar levels, and increase creatine uptake. Very high claims.
If you are using the capsule form then it is suggested that you take one capsule, 3 times per day with meals. Powdered ALA is considered unstable and degrades rapidly once opened so stick to the capsules if you are going to use it.
