Bulk or Cut?

Hows your diet? How often do you lift? Are you an athlete? What are your goals?

At your age just a good workout routine and a decent diet would be good so you can look good for the ladies. You will gain if you eat. I would think you would be able to work out at school, so if you eat fairly clean you should be good!!!:D

ok thanks. heres my diet. ialso lift 3-4x week and do cardio 3x weekly.

Meal 1:
3 whole eggs
oatmeal
banana
fish oil

Snack in School:
Protein Bar

Meal 2:
Whole Wheat Bread
Turkey
Light Dressing

Meal 3: (preworkout)
2 scoops whey
fruit

Immediatly PWO:
2 scoops whey
creal or other quick carb source

Meal 4: PWO Meal
Chicken/Steak
Brown Rice/pasta/sweet potatoes
veggies

Meal 5:
Tuna
nuts
fish oil

thats actually not a bad diet, that diet is along the lines of lean cut diet. It looks like you might need to put on the muscle mass, so therefore just make sure you keep the same diet and hit the weights as hard as you can. Tell me whats you workout regimen?

IA simple power based routine. i think my best option might be to just lift heavy and eat alittle above maintenece and gain LBM over long period of time and lose fat maybe too.
 
CUT!!!!!! you need low carb high protein... you shouldnt be trying to bulk. Although if you want to look like a football lineman keep bulking, but thats not a very attractive look imo.

i have no muscle to cut to. i never said i was bulking. just said to lift heavy get stronger, and eating clean like 100-200 over maintence.. if i do this for a year i will gain alot of LBM and even reduce fat (cardio)

dont worry about cutting the diet you set for yourself its good enough I would really consider it a bulking knor a cutting diet. You have a healthy diet and a kid you age thats all you really need. Have you ever thought about taking supplements???

i would add a casein shake right before bed and hit the weights hard. at your age you should be lifting 5 or 6 days per wk hitting each body part 2 times per wk.

that is the best diet i have ever heard from a teen and i have heard many congradulations.

Horrible advice ^^

Even though you have a little belly on you some high intensity training and a clean diet would burn that fat off quick.

If anything i would try to maintain cals or maybe eat slightly over maintenance cals but just keep them clean like the diet you posted above.

Best of luck, sounds like you're on the right path.

Lastly remember to LIFT WITH HIGH INTENSITY. Short rest periods between sets are HUGE :evil:
 
Definately try to put on more mass Id say, Im 14 and got around same amount of bodyfat as you, get a decent routine, keep up the diet and get bigger, like you said, right now you have no muscle to cut to, so no question about it. Oh and take a good multivitamin if your not already
 
cut down to get rid of the fat so when u bulk ull have more muscle and half the fat than if u just bulked now.....get it????
