Not sure if you mean Asian as oriental or including Indian, but Buddha was actually Indian not oriental.

Hari Krishna? I assume you mean Krishna, as the Hari Krishnas are a group who worship one of the Hindu gods called Krishna in their own way.

Good point, the historical Buddha, Siddhartha Gutama (sp) was born in the mountains of northern india, he was a prince, with a wife and kids, then he had his epiphany and supposedly did all that crap that is attributed to him.

And another couple of things:

Allah was never meant to have been on Earth so how can you say that he was an Arab black man? You can say that about Mohammed (his prophet according to Islam) but you cannot say that about Allah.

Similarly Jehova (sp?) was never meant to have actually been manifested on Earth. So you can comment on the racial makeup of Jesus but not actually Jehova.

Thanks for explaining. I was wondering.

I agree that it is pointless to assume that a so called supreme being would have a race.

I guess people want to be able to relate to their god so they picture him/her as the same race as themselves.
