bubbles in syringe

So i just poked myself...and mind you i don't have very much experience in this department, i have stuck myself a couple of times before though mostly someone else did it....so here i am with this needle in my quad and i aspirate...and oh shit theres a couple of bubbles now in the syringe, so i figure "what the fuck its only a couple of small bubbles" and i push through...now should i be worried about this or just paranoid, i heard it would take 3 cc's of air in your system to kill you...

Not a problem - you will either get small air bubbles, or blood when you aspirate.

air intramuscularly won't hurt you, it's when you get air in a vein that you're fucked. this is the whole point of aspiration. don't sweat it.

Either way you're paranoid if a few bubbles concern you......it's going in to your muscle tissue, not directly in to a vein.

for the record once and for all....I DID NOT PUT 3 CC'S OF AIR IN THE NEEDLE, I JUST HEARD THAT AN AMOUNT OF 3 CC'S OF AIR IN YOUR SYSTEM COULD KILL YOU...THE AMOUNT OF AIR IN MY SYRINGE WAS A COUPLE OF BUBBLES.....does everybody understand now....nod if ya'll understand....theeerre you go....

Echo that! Well said. I am always appreciative of the advice I get from Savage.........until he tells me to inject 3 CCs of air into my vein.
