Bro's, I have been on a test prop/fina 50mg/75mg respectively ED for the past week, and the pain is UNBELIEVABLE! Dudes, I have welts on each side of my glute with light bruising. WTF? I know you should rotate glutes, quads, and delts but I don't want the same pain in my quads and delts as I have in my glutes. I am really considering stopping everything if the pain does not go away. What should I do? Can someone give me an idea on where in my quad I should poke because I know that there is a nerve around there. Thanks, as usual, karma to anyone that helps.:bawling:

Well i think first off your body has to get used to the injections and fluids your putting into your muscles. The first couple shots always hurt the most IMO. I've never tried it but some say warming the oil under hot water helps, but definately give the injection spot a deep thorough massage for a couple of minutes...Peace

You should not inject in the same spot more than once a week in my opinion. You need to lay off your glutes for a couple of weeks and let them recover before you build up some nasty scar tissue or even worse get an abscess. Make sure you are cleaning the needle with and alcohol pad and do the same to the top to the vial and the injection site. I had the same problem in the past with shooting in the same spot and I know it hurts like a bitch.

Check this site out http://www.spotinjections.com

It will give you all the info you need for hitting different injection sites

Hope this helps

I always shoot into my quads. And I alternate them from week to week. One week I will shoot into the quad on my right leg, then the next week I will shoot into the left leg. Then, I'll choose a different spot on the other leg. It works well for me. Hope this helps.

No, No, No. Don't let the needle contact anything, including an alcohol pad.

Do clean the top of the vial and the injection site as bigp3 said though.

Are you holding the needle very steady throughout the aspiration and injection? If you move around a little it will add to the prop pain. Also, inject slowly. What size pin are you using?
