Bros need help, could not quad inject

I'm on my first cycle right now, and today was the first time I ever tried to inject into any area other than my ass, which has been a piece of cake...my friend was helping me, and he didnt know quite what happened to me either...I was trying to inject 150mg fina into my right quad, I rubbed the area down thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, and tried 5 different times...the first thing I noticed is it is much harder to get through the skin here, but once I did that the problems began...the first time I WAS SLOWLY putting the needle in and about 2/3 of the way in I got this really bad pain that shot from my knee to the top of my quad, it felt like my whole leg knotted up into a ball and almost got 'shocked'...im assuming i hit a nerve?? well, this happened 2 more times, and then on my last attempt once the needle was halfway in I broke out sweating horribly and was literally one second away from throwing up...this was NOT due to me being disgusted by having a needle in me or anything, that doesnt bother me at all, it was almost like a knee jerk reaction, where once that needle went in my leg something triggered in my body and was going to make me puke...well anyway, i ended up shooting it in my ass for today, but eventually I am gonna have to learn to do this...any advice, anyone else know what happened here and how to avoid it? any help is massively appreciated, thanks bros
 
well from what ive heard which could be wrong fina and most other oil based AAS absorb best in the ass, quads and lats...have u shot fina before in your delts and triceps and gotten results?

....muscle is muscle....the oil doesn't know what muscle it's in....absorption is at the same rate no matter what site......
 
that's the reason I avoid quads now. Too many nerves. Get creative. There's nothing like waking up at 5am and sticking a needle in your chest to get ya going for the day. Kinda like that clip from Pulp Fiction:p
 
I do lats and quads no problem with fina. Bro what I suspect happened is that you did hit a nerv the first 2 times. After that you are really tense in anticipation of the pain. try high and slightly to the front. I had somthing like this happen to me once. I was forced to use IP prop for reasons beyond my control. I had heard so much about how much it burnned that i was dreading it. I shot in my thigh like I had dozens of times before. It hurt like hell and was sore for days. I gave it a lot of thought and realized that I had been really tense anticipating the pain. I forced myself to relax, stoping as I injected to breath deep and relax everyonce in awhile. I was able to finish my cycle with IP prop with no problem, no pain
 
yea obviously i was nervous, and then by like the 4th and 5th shot after having my leg lock up and feel paralyzed, i wasnt exactly anticipating the best...
i was shooting on the outer portion of my quad about halfway between my knee and my hip, maybe slightly high towards the hip but nothing drastic...
and Gilly...im no expert whatsoever on AAS absorption i am new to all this, but the whole 'oil absorbs best in ass/quads/etc' is a tip that was given to a friend of mine from Dave Palumbo, so I figured if anyone knew about using (and abusing) this stuff itd be him...again though i cant argue for or against him as i really dont know WHY he claims this

Well AS is meant to be given intramuscular so really any intramuscular injection will work. But the deeper in you go the more comfortable it feels afterwards (for me anyway). So by that logic the bigger muscle groups (glutes, quads, delts would be first choice) but it just depends on personal preference...for me its delts and triceps, but I'm gonna try a chest inject in the next few weeks...I think that will be kinda cool...
 
Why do you say that you have to learn to shoot your quad sooner or later? If you don't have problems with the glutes, why not stick with it?

I know what you're talking about when you say you felt sick towards the end. I went in for surgery one time and the nurse doing my prep must have been having a bad day. He tried 4 times to get my damn IV in. It wasn't painful, but suddenly I felt very faint, started getting hot and cold flashes and was on the verge of vomiting what little I had in my stomach. It's just a physiological response.

It's actually a bit of a challenge to find "the good spot" on your own leg. There are usually lots of good spots but also lots of bad ones. It can go well if you don't mind poking two or three times until it feels like it's just going to slide in nicely. Some people know exactly where to hit it and never have a problem.

Sounds like you did hit a nerve. Happened to me a couple of times - not pleasant and not something you want to happen, but this should be rare.

I say I must learn to shoot in my quads eventually because the cycle I am currently on has me shooting 1 cc test on Monday and Friday in my left and right asscheek, and also 1.5 cc fina EOD. By that logic, I'd develop pain or an abcess pretty fast if I didn't alternate, so it was suggested to me to keep all test shots in my ass, and alternate fina shots between L+R asscheek, quads, and lats. Would it be ok for me to just stick with shooting in my ass? Thecombination of hitting the nerves, the paralyzed feeling, and then the wanting to puke feeling really freaked me out today, all night I have been thinking "fuck the next quad shot is gonna SUCK", so I'd loveto avoid it if I would still gain the same. If I won't make the same gains though then I'm stabbin the quad, it is still worth it to me
 
Sorry I can't help ya out with an answer...I'm new at this myself. It seemed logical to just stick with what works, but at 5 or 6 pokes a week, I guess you would have to move it around a bit to keep from developing problems. I was thinking more along the lines of Sus250...one stab a week :D

I just hit my quads for the first time....and it was like candy. A lot better then the glutes, harder to get around.
 
I'm not a big fan of quads shots myself. Its easy to do because of the area(easy to get to), but a pain in the ass to complete. I like glutes and delts. I had no problem doing fina in the delts, it definitely made my shoulders bigger.
 
What position was your leg in.

I remember my first time trying to do quad shots. I made a very bad mistake. I tried to shot into the quad with my leg in the extended position, I was laying down, not sitting with my leg bent. The muscles were contracted and the needle simply wouldn't penetrate. Anyone I forceully put it in, and let me tell you the pain that I experienced was terrible. I cramped, my leg started to twitch, and then the needle started to bend in my leg because my muscles were buggin out. I learned from my mistake. That could be your problem.

You sound liek you may be onto something. When I shot, I sat on the edge of my bathtub with my right leg extended, but not totally tightened up like I was flexing it or anything. I had it in that position for each of my five attempts. How would you recommend I position it instead?
 
Sounds like a typical quad injection, everyone usually love hitting quads at first until they start getting those odd sensations when they insert. Make sure that your quad is completely relaxed when you insert, if not you will cramp and spasm. If the oil seems really hard to push this may be a sign that the muscle is not relaxed. Im sure you know the story about fina being accidentaly injected into a blood vessel, you will feel like shit at best.
 
I just had my first 2 injections this week, both in the quads. First one was Deca and I was surprised I didn't feel anything when the needle was inserted. I could only feel the oil getting into the muscle (no paid, just a strange feeling). My second shot was Sust. After reading all the posts about painful Sust injections, and the advise to warm the oil before injecting, I heated the ampul for a few minutes in hot water. This time I felt a little pinch when the needle was inserted, but I didn't feel anything of the Sust entering my body. No paid what so ever.

To relax the muscle, I just took a comfortable chair, and set down for a minute, with my leg bend. Ok I have to be honest, I asked somebody else to give me the injections (I know I am a pussy with needles at the moment). I first have to get used to the injections before I start injecting my self. The guy that did the injection, used the needle as a dart and pushed it in quickly, and before I knew it I was entering the dark side of this board. He pushed in the oil really slowly, and removed the needle quickly.

If I knew injecting was so easy I would never have done my previous oral only cycles.

For the time being I will stay with quad injections.
 
well its friday night, once again unsuccessfully tried to inject my quad today, had to go to the good old right asscheek again...if this keept up my ass is gonna be infected soon, both sides are sore from too many shots...
i always tried to put the needle in very slowly, isnt it dangerous to dart it in real fast if you hit and possibly tore a vein, artery or a nerve?

Make sure your knee is bent, Doing while sitting in a chair. Should be no problem. Your leg should not be extended at all. Even thouhg you aren't flexing it can cause a big problem.
 
I just started using the quads and love it. I see you guys explaining to keep the leg bent, I sit on my bed and put my leg straight out in front of me, at full extension, I would think this would relax the muscle better. Which is the right way here? also, is it ok to inject 2cc into the quate.

I just started my first cycle 2 weeks ago and I started off with site injections. I figured I was going to have to learn how to do them anyways because I am running 75mg Fina EOD and 500mg Sust/wk. So I'm poking myself quite often and need to rotate sites. And for an odd reason my quads are the hardest to inject (I get that funny feeling too). My calves love fina, no pain at all and the skin is really thin there so the pin just slides through. Same with delts, tris are a little tougher. I'm going to have to start using my butt and chest soon I think, delts are starting to fill up with oil.

I have to do my friend's injections for him because he gets way too tense and always injects so slow that it hurts me to watch him. So what I do for him is have him sit down like previously mentioned and I say "ok, I will go 1, 2, 3, then stick you.... 1, POKE, 2.... ".. I used to poke him after two but he got used to it and started tensing up. I suggest having someone you trust try it for you so you don't have to watch and can just relax. It helps him. Just my personal experience.

Just thinking logically, flexing your quad extends your leg (think leg extensions), so it would seem that sitting in a chair with leg bent at the knee would be the most relaxed position for the muscle. That way even if you tend to tense up you can't really flex the quad...you'd be tightening your hammies or calves mostly.

Bro, i had the exact problem about 20 times...and the one time i shot i was walking with a limp for about a week...never again quads suck!! tris, delts, glute,....soon i will try bi's and calves..they worry me cause i have no vascularity to see where im shootin
 
When I shoot my quads (and I have to now because my glutes are so full of scar tissue it's like trying to stick a needle through a two by four), I first draw out the juice (if it's oil) in a 21# syringe and then shoot it into a 25# syringe. This lets me inject with with a smaller needle, albeit it takes more time to inject. I shoot on the middle to outside of my quads, checking first to make sure that there aren't any obvious veins in my way, then I slowly inject. If I feel the pain you're describing, which is hitting a nerve, a draw back a little and shoot in at a different angle. Once the needle is in, I draw back on the plunger a little bit to make sure no blood comes back up into the syringe which would indicate that I'm in a blood vessel (if that happens I pull out and reinject into a new area). Also, try using this smaller needle method on your shoulders, it saves you some pain from a larger needle and the build-up of extra scar tissue.
 
Did not work for me either

The muscles in my "thin" legs are very dense. Felt like I was pushing through leather. Hurt like hell the next day. I tried the spot inject site for info beforehand. Did not help.
Oh well.
 
HELL FUCKIN YEAH thank you bros very much...i just did my first fina injection in my right quad, basically combined everyones advice and stopped worrying like a little bitch before i stuck the needle in, and it went perfectly...it felt weird feeling the fina fill my quad up, i dont get that same feeling in my glute, but other than that it went perfect...karma to you all
