Uhh.... your target demographic is straight males around 30ish.
enough with the gay storyline for fucks sake.
This season has been the suck, anybody else really starting to lose interest???![]()

So you can sit there and watch graphic violence, rape, hetro sexual sex, but a little man on man love has you running for the kills?
excuse me while this black kettle takes a piss on you/
swole said:i have no problem watching what is going on
there's a deeper meaning to all of this, if you can't pick up on it then you aren't appreciating what sopranos is all about
TC2 said:What is the deeper meaning??
How things have changed so much? if so I get that part, but they are dragging that shit out and there's no need for sex scenes.
swole said:as far as action, yes...it's slow
but character development is amazing imo
it's a modern spin on an organized crime family, these are realistic issues that could take place (gay members)
Lestat said:were you complaing at the sex scenes between tony and his bitches?
its part of the show, the show is designed to immitate real life, that has always been the main draw, a look into a life that MOST OF US never get to see firsthand, many of us never even hear about second hand.
So initially the show appealed to your sexuality, great, now its touching on a different aspect, and all of a sudden it sucks?
Did the gay sex scenes somehow make you forget about the following:
1) Tony discussing the obligations with the lawn worker that Paulie "help"
2) Tony's daughter having problems with her fiance
3) Tony exploring his relationship with his sister
4) Tony manipulating his wife with the spec home when he doesn't get his way
5) Johnny Sac taking a plea bargain, and what that meant to his 'friends' and how he never would flip. (that scene with the lawyer was awesome by the way)
6) Chris getting the maserati repoed!!! he lost 25,000 on that!
7) Tony doing tough negotiations with the construction company in louisianna
Anyway, there is a whole lot more to that episode and to the show then just the man on man love, but if that is what YOU choose to focus on, then I think we all know who needs to just come out of the closet already.
ok so lets use your logic.TC2 said:See I knew this was coming..yeah I don't want to see gay sex scenes(it repulses, me sorry deal with it)..I must love the cock right??
uh oh..I don't want to see child molestion scenes(it repulses me) in movies either...I must be a pedophile!!!!!
I thinkt he point of the show is to give an inside look into some of these things? you think maybe?Razorguns said:in REAL LIFE we don't have to see gay sex shoved in our faces.
So why do we have to watch it on a show where visiuals of gay sex have nothing to do with the plotlines. Remember the 20's when they didn't even show couples in bed. We used our imagination. Why couldn't they here? Just gay producers forcing straight america to watch gay sex/love whether "they like it or not". I don't remember where it was written we had to watch gay sex, to be "complete americans". I must've missed that class.

he'll make sure its dealt with bro.decaNovice said:well, true as it is (remember Henry Hill?), it still isn't as good as seeing the real shiz like beatings and decapitations.....they have yet to show what will happen to a gay capo once he's caught....LOL....talk about character development.....lets hope T don't go soft and let him off.....that would be disgrace to that thing of ours....
i don't think david chase will do that though.....remember he was born a DeCesare......he should know "proper etiquette".........![]()
megamania500 said:I don't care for the gay intimate scenes, either. But since Vito was heading back to the city at the end of the episode, I think they are done showing that. I had to laugh when Vito thought that it might be getting close to lunch and sees that it wasn't even 10 yet. Shows how little actual work the character actually ever had to do in his life.
I think the show is going to start gaining speed as far as the storylines.
lol at the term "homophobia" being used like it's a real word. A "phobia" is an unnatural FEAR of something! To be repulsed by seeing two men kissing doesn't invoke fear in anyone. They simply feel repulsed. End of story.
I'm repulsed by pedophiles and also by seeing plastic surgery being performed on TV, too. I must have "pedophobia" and "plasticsurgeryphobia" , too then.
And, no, I don't hate someone because they are gay. But I do think that trying to label someone "homophobic", and then accuse them of being "closet gay" is a pretty pathetic defense created (out of thin air) by gay advocates in retaliation to those that attack them and their lifestyle. They simply needed something to say back to those who act out towards them, and that is what they came up with (including the word "homophobic").
AAP said:I think it is important and essential that they show these kind of scenes.
