For the same reason, I think she is going to lose her sex appeal before long. What a waste.

danielson, Shakira MAYBE, but she doesn't have the sexy charm that Britney has, and Christina is just too skanky to do so now. Someone else will replace her though. Just give it alittle time.

i don't think there will be someone to take her place anytime soon....I think the music industry is gonna trend away from all this pop crap sometime soon....and then it will come back in 15 or twenty years or so....
 
It seems the next big stars are the likes of Vanessa Carlton, Michelle Branch, and Norah Jones. Not as good looking, but they actually have some sort of musical talent.
