I think because of her status as a pop icon she gets scrutinized alot more than every other bad/negligent mother in America.
How many mothers do you see everyday driving without their kids in the proper restraints?
I'm not saying Spears isn't a total dipshit, but she's far from the worst parenting example.
Plus I actually find it amusing at her total disregard for conventional clothing choices - lol.

it's pure royalties though... so all she has to pay on that is taxes. so after tax she nets around half a million each month... without any additional work.
