Bret Easton Ellis

A few members of the board are obsessed with the movie 'American Psycho' (GOOD FILM) but has anyone actually read the book? What about Bret Easton Ellis' other books like 'The Rules of Attraction' (also a movie), 'Glamorama', 'Less Than Zero', etc.

I read mixed reviews of them......

I think the movie is great because of the acting and delivery though... well dialoge is great, but I am guessing the screen play was a total adaptation

I read American Psycho three times before they ever talked about making it a movie. I was surprised to see that they got away with it... very graphic story. The book is so much more entertaining than the movie... the movie had to leave out a LOT of the good stuff just to make it to production. I read Less Than Zero not too long ago... good, but not his best work. Ellis is an outstanding writer.

the book was very very good.

never read rules of attraction, but the movie was surprisingly good. I saw it years ago with a girl that had never done a drug in her life. what a tool.
