Breaking thru Plateaus

I know most of us have hit ceilings even on Cycle. That is, we max out and don't grow anymore. That is usually the time to go off cycle do your PCT and attack your growth goals next cycle. As I get older. It's harder for me to put on quality size. I can get stonger but not bigger. The obvious answer would be eat more, go heavier, increase gear, Etc. I'm maxed out on everything. I'm stuck at 210 and just can't fucking eat any more. Or go any heavier.

Is it time for assisted living... or triple up on gear? Readyyyy... AAAAim....

I thought u were already in a nursing home????

U simply have to eat more my friend even if it means adding a little more to the gut. When I find it hard to physically eat more I substitute higher fat content meat to get those extra 9 calories per gram and snack on alots of PB. I will also ditch all cardio activity. Gains will be more difficult the older you become but not impossible.

Have u run EQ? It is not my favorite (prefer primo) but great for appetite for alot of people.

EQ make me way too anxious. The problem is the more I eat the fatter I get.
I eat clean, but I get kind of a power lifter gut. I'm still looking for my abs!

They're so close. Maybe I ought to just cut down to 200 and 8% BF. At 5'10
that's pretty tight. Right now 210, 50" chest, 36" waist. Should be 33-34" waist.
That's bro! I figured food was the only way. Just needed to hear it. I'm going off cycle in 2 weeks, so I think the plan will be to cut this summer.

If I didnt already know u so well I would of recommended 3grams of gear like a former member used to and tell u 2 supplement that with HGH....lol
 
INJ B-12 works for appetite enhancement, but iam curious to know what ur training looks like, compound movements with free weights rule, im guessing u arent able to squat yes, no??? or deads???

I really think ripped is better than bulked at my advanced age. I'm an inch away from a visual sighting of my abs. :google:
 
How many times a week do you train? How intense?

I"m starting to become convinced that more and more people overtrain (yah, I know it's been wildly debated).... but the more I talk to experienced trainers and bodybuilders (and the more I listen to my own body), the more I'm seeing that it's good to give the body the rest it needs to grow...even while ON.

I do a 5 day split, one body part each day, 3 to 4 excercises per body part
lifting heavy, 5 X 5's, maybe 4 X 6-8's . Done in 45 minutes. I go intense.

I'm thinking at 51 maybe that's too much. Shit I don't know. I'm not sore.
 
I use 2 do the same routine switch 2 moderate weight & higher reps for awhile youll
get more definition . it will also keep ur heart rate up burn more fat. Im 39 yrs old
and actually cut out cardio. i havent gained any bodyfat. just eat clean.
 
yo half , have you tried pepitdes hgh,slin,igf should increase the amount of muscle cells aka increase you genetic potential

I would consider changing the routine. If you are doing barbell presses, switch to dumbbell presses, if you are going heavy with low reps, go more moderate with drop sets or strip sets perhaps. Throw the muscles a curve ball.
 
Thanks for suggestions. I go off cycle April 1, so I will do more reps, less weight. Lots of protein. 2 months of changing it up will probably do the trick.

SORRY, but there is absolutely no correlation between your rep range and "definition" u can keep heart rate up doing 5x5 biggest myth in the game is: high reps=cut and low reps = size WRONG!!!
 
i started training lighter and do more reps and i can definitely see a difference in my over all body.....i dont think my body can take heavy ass lifting yr round its gotta be switched up to lighter weights sometimes
