BREAK is almost healed .. start cycle ???

I broke my hand over the winter (one break in a bone right underneath the pinky, close to a boxers fracture)

I have had my cast off for just about 2 months now.

Doc said theres no way it's going to break again, and I am lifting good solid heavy weight again.

Was painful to lift when cast was off. No pain from lifting now, (sometimes a mild annoying "tick") BUT when I shoot a basketball or hit a Raquetball the vibration definatley still sends a jolt through my hand, and it hurts for a little. It goes away and is not nearly as bad as it use to be.

I have a EQ/VAR cycle I really want to start so I can finish it before school starts again. Can I start it and still heal properly ??

400mg EQ 1 - 10
40mg VAR/ed 4 - 12

My thoughts: The EQ won't kick in for 3 weeks so by then it should be healed completely. I was thinking of starting a week from Monday.

What do you guys think ??

Member I have had the cast off for 2 months. Any opinions/experiences .. ???

Are you close to what you were lifting pre-injury? If not try to get as close as possible before starting. As long as you go easy on it and it feels okay to lift go ahead. Going on shouln't affect your healing as long as you be careful. You could even concentrate on lower body for the first couple weeks to give yourself more time to heal, although that option doesn't seem too appealing for some reason.

yeh bro I am about the same at 10 rep sets.

BUT If I try to do MAX or 3 rep real Heavy it hurts a bit.
 
btw that not a bad idea at all.. go real light on Upper boddy for 3 weeks and work legs hard.. then blow up on upper body in week 4 when EQ kicks in..
 
Alot of guys will tell you different but there is no reason to go with anything less than 6-8 reps while on juice. Be as strict as possible and try to work the muscle for a good 6 reps and then get a spotter to help you. Legs can be alot of fun I like this training split when concentrating on lower body:

Day 1 quads/calves
Day 2 biceps/tricps
Day 3 shoulders/ hamstrings
Day 4 Back/calves
Day 5 quads/hamstrings
Day 6 Chest/calves
Day 7 rest

I only ever do this for a couple months at a time, but I make great gains on lower body when I do.
